WMP ANZAC Day Service

April 18 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Hosted by Shire Military History Club.

Join us on April 18th as we gather at Woronora Memorial Park to pay our respects to the brave soldiers who served in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) during World War I and in all wars since. This ANZAC Day event is open to the public and is a chance to honour and remember those who have served our country.

During the ceremony, several speakers will take the stage to offer their thoughts on the significance of ANZAC Day and what it means to them personally. It provides a meaningful opportunity for people to come together and honour those who have given their lives in service to their country.

We invite you to join us in this important commemoration of our national history and identity.

Refreshments available from 10.45am at the memorial site for those attending the service.

A guided military history tour will commence at 11am from the Military Memorial.

Order of service:

  • 10am – Anzac Service at the Military Memorial
  • 10.45am – Refreshments at the Military Memorial
  • 11am – Guided military history tour, commencing from the Military Memorial.
