Metropolitan Memorial Parks (formerly Office of OneCrown Cemeteries) is a NSW Government entity, entrusted to consolidate three NSW Crown Cemetery Land Managers.

We provide places of reflection and are committed to meeting the changing needs of our diverse communities by supporting people to grieve, celebrate life, and remember their loved ones.

Our parks offer sustainable and affordable interment options, crematoria, memorialisation, chapels and functions, through to history and recreational facilities.

Metropolitan Memorial Parks oversees 1,000 acres of Crown Land cemeteries. Learn more about our memorial parks.

Crown Cemetery Amalgamation

Metropolitan Memorial Parks unites Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Land Manager and Northern Metropolitan Cemeteries Land Manager and Rookwood General Cemeteries Reserve Land Manager.

This amalgamation ends a two-year period of uncertainty across the Crown cemetery sector. Up until now, while the Land Managers have transitioned many functions and implemented consistencies where possible, three legal entities continued to operate.

As Metropolitan Memorial Parks we can confidently plan for the future and work with Government to address the growing concern around the future supply of cemetery space.
