You are invited to take a self-guided walk of historic and serene Macquarie Park Cemetery & Crematorium and Woronora Memorial Park during the NSW Seniors Festival from 11 – 24 March 2024.
Get out and about while exploring the beautiful gardens and history of our community.
Macquarie Park Cemetery & Crematorium:
- Visit the first grave of Macquarie Park – Mr Henry Mashman
- Explore the Living Legacy Forest, Garden of Eternity and Pathway of Memories
- Walk through the newly opened Mausoleum of the Holy Way
Woronora Memorial Park:
- Discover the stories behind the many memorials and monuments, such as:
- Military Memorial
- Wonderfully Made Memorial
- Doorway of Hope
- Monuments and statues of heroes passed
